Q: Do you do block parties?
A: Summer of 2022 is the last summer we will be doing block parties. Unfortunately with our past experiences you will need to have an attendant for each ride rented and all block parties are to be picked up by 7pm no later. There is also convince fees associated to block parties.
Q: Does the price that I see include set up and delivery?
A: No, price of delivery are separate and will depend on the location of the event.
Q: Does the standard 4 hour rental time include your set up time?
A: No. We arrive early to set up your inflatable so you get the entire rental time to play. Most rentals end up being overnight do to how busy it gets.
Q: When do you set up your bounce houses and water slides?
A: That depends on how many rentals we have going out on that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the day before to confirm that someone will be at the party location. And no, you won't be charged for any additional time that you get to jump and slide!
Q: We´ve rented some really dirty bouncers from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A: No. We pride ourselves in providing some of the cleanest and newest looking inflatables on Long Island. Bounce Long Island LLC cleans and disinfects after every rental and we guarantee that you'll be satisfied.
Q: Do we have to keep our inflatable party rental plugged in the entire time?
A: Yes, unless otherwise specified in safety training (kids should be removed from the jump and the blower should be turned off in high winds). A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That´s why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A: We don't set-up in Parks. The logistics is rough and most parks require permits to set up as well.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Cash, Credit Cards and Venmo and in some instances checks (if you are a business) If paying by cash, please have exact change as we do not usually have change.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: We ask that you leave a 8% deposit by Credit Card/Debit Card to hold the date/Rental Item. The deposit holds the item/unit for your special day so no one else can rent that unit/item.
Q: What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?
A: Please make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. We're strong, but we can't lift these larger inflatables over walls or fences. The rides can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
Q: Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A: Yes. We have you sign a contract when we drop off the inflatable that has all the safety rules stated. One will be emailed to you after set up is complete.
Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds or the use of SILLY STRING ) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.Use of Silly string in or on one of our inflatables results in a cleaning and damage fee of $500.00 or possible replacement! We do offer a Damage Waiver, at a cost of 10% of the total rental price. This option is available during the check out process and it explains it more in detail.
Q: What if we need to cancel?
A: You can change your party rental to a different date, but otherwise, deposits are non-refundable and will not be refunded unless it is raining or winds are above 15 mph sustained on the day of the party. If it is raining on your party date we will contact you to see if you want to go ahead with your rental or cancel. If you choose to cancel due to the weather conditions as stated, we will not deliver it to you and anything you have already paid will be refunded to you. If you choose to keep your rental, we will deliver and full payment will be due. No refunds or discounts will be given at that point even it rains all day.
Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: Unfortunately the deposit is non refundable. The deposit holds a date and a product for you on your special day. Which blocks someone else from renting the item for their special day.
Q: What if I leave a deposit and someone comes down with COVID-19 or some other virus/cold/flu/variant?
A: Unfortunately the deposit is non refundable. These are the times we are currently living in, it is the potential risk you are taking by booking for your party.
